Hey Lilly Lady, this is what I woke up to this morning how do you like it?
The garden is really looking beautiful I don't mind putting in a little effort to keep it that way.
How is your garden doing? How about some pix?

Till next time...

How do you like those poppies? Dear #1 Son came for a working visit and this is the result in the back flower bed. We did a lot of cleaning out of over grown perennials and a lot of unwanted weeds. Several of the hostas were transplanted to the front of the house under the huge pine tree. They seem to love it out there. We started on the front bed but ran out of energy and time so I will finish it this week. Enjoy the pix!

Till next time...

I think my feet are finally on the floor following that fantastic weekend when L'l Sis and I attended our high school's 50th reunion. Thank goodness for name tags because I didn't recognize some faces. People came from all over the world. It blew me away at the memories of those seniors. I really loved seeing some of our teachers. WOW! they have aged gracefully.
For Pub night our years were located at the Newfoundland Club and what an ideal setting. We had a special treat of the Scout House Band that performed at the back of the building on the grass and on the back of the building there was a large veranda where veryone could view the Band. They were fantastic! I even reconized an original member as well as some women. (OOOH, Dear Husband would not have approved!) It was a very memorable night for me and I will treasurer it!
Saturday involved a visit to the school and finding our old lockers and again meeting friends from the past. In the evening all the years met at Bingemen Park in the one of three ballrooms and there was a live band which play music from throughout the 50 years. Again, more name tag reading and wonderful memories discussed.
We had two really late nights but what a Blast! Our throats were raspy and the voice almost gone from one us.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn so the chatting and laughing was non stop.
Now we are looking forward to the 60th.

Till next time...
