~~~~~WOW, A WHOLE WEEK SINCE I LAST POSTED....JUST WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?

As you guessed I have been in somewhat of whirlwind of activities lately hence no blogging. And the busy activities continue.

Tonight I am having a dinner party and the guests will include my park family now that all the 'Snow Birds' have returned home.
We always have so much fun and I love them dearly. I have so much to share with them pertaining all of the 'fix ups' around my wee cottage. I think some of them will be in awe.

You have been wondering why no new posts.....well here you have it.

I have been REALLY, REALLY, BUSY.....

1. I built a shelf for my media centre.

2. Assembled a desk for the computer.

3. Over saw the assembly of window treatments.

4. Maintained my workout routine.

WHEW!

Enjoy the fruits of my labour!

Above is the new window treatment in the kitchen. It is so neat since it can be opened from the top or the bottom with just using the tab.

This is the lovely desk that I purchased at Ikea and assembled myself ...well I did have some guidance from my contractor Brent after he suggested I take it back to the store....No Way cuz I really like it don't you agree it is a beauty?

~~~HAPPY VERY SUNNY AND WARM EASTER SUNDAY TO Y'ALL!

I had the most excellent visit with Son and family.

Friday we attended two hockey games in which Grandson played. On the way to Brantford we drove passed non other than 'Car Kid' raking his lawn and a find job he was doing too. Son was driving and he honked the horn but I don't think Car Kid recognized us.
Then we saw both 'Lily Lady' and Car Kid sitting on the porch enjoying the fine weather. I wasn't able to have a visit with then....no time.

Following the first game Grandson was given the M V P. Let me explain how that happened. The team played was from Kitchener and they had never played each other before and I am sure they didn't even know any of the kids. Grandson won the award on his merits while playing that game.
He is an awesome player and now I am not the only one who thinks so ....
Two M V P in seven days....WOW!

Grandson has two games on Fri. and one Sat. then maybe one on Sun. All that cheering I just hope dear Son and daughter in low will still be standing at the end of each day. As for me I will draw on my perpetual smile :).
