~~~Here is handsome grandson who by the way has grown 3 inches since I last saw him. He is my hero when it comes to the extreme extension and his head reaches my nose when he stands near me....Keep growing you charming hunk!
~~~FOG AGAIN?......NO IT'S A SNOW STREAMER.....
I spotted this as I was almost home after spending Sunday luncheoning with friends, a very quick visit which included a wonderful cardio walk with a colleague from my teaching days and best of all visiting with family.

As you will see in the pix below the evidence of the snow. The streamer which came off the lake was not large enough to spoil the record of a November without snow the first time in 70 years.

~~~~PAIN FREE!!!!
Yesterday I jumped back into my routine and it felt wonderful. A continuation of unpacking and laundry in the morning then I was off to the Y for a cardio for a half hour and then the free weight class.
I was so surprised that so many in the class really missed me and they told me so. Our instructor Brenda also expressed her feelings about having me back....there was lots of great hugging going on.
Brenda had a little surprise planned for the class....no it did not involve any goodies....the surprise was she increased our reps from 12 to 20 for EVERY ROUTINE....YIKES! was there ever a lot of complaining but the results were amazing. Of course the secret to not having any pain following each set is STRETCHING !!!! and it really works!
I counted 18 in the class and some new faces which is great.
We are a congenial group of mature women and all friends so as friends tend to do we get together for lunch every now and then. We are going for lunch at J's Bistro next Wed. and at that time we will give Brenda a little surprise gift. It is our way of saying a special THANK YOU to her. She really puts her self out especially when it comes to setting up for each class and we do appreciated it.
Now down to the nitty gritty.....oh yes it is about to happen.....am I teasing too much???
You don't know what I'm talking about do you???
OK, OK, I am letting you know that today is the day I will be approached and asked to to the entire class....YIKES! Which involves half hour cardio, core strengthening, weights and stretching in about an hour.
I know you've heard it all before .....whining .....gee, you guys are the only ones that will listen to me ....my captive audience !!!! LOL !!!
I am ready however I know Nancy will enjoy giving me the "kick in the bum" I really need.
Then watch me go!!!
Till next time....
~~~~HOME SWEET HOME!!!!

Following a lovely visit with an old friend after crossing the border in Sarnia I was home ward bound. Oh, it is so very November here at my little cottage.....and I just love it!

It did take me some time to unload the car even the bike was stored in the garage safely.
Now comes the real work like....laundry, and sorting through all my new acquisitions....Gee, it's just like Christmas and finding new stuff.

Clearing out my mail box was another interesting find. It will take some time going through all of the mail but I will just take my time.

Till next time.....

Cousin Mike this top pic is for you! LOL....There are all sorts of fireworks companies all the way down to Florida and even in that state too.

Below .....more pix of the beautiful Smokey Mountains...I do enjoy this chain of mountains.

Some of my readers worry that I take pix while driving well, I also eat food and check the map and check the rear view mirrow and I also check for "eye candy" and life goes on!

As I was heading north on Interstate 75 about 40 south of Lexington Kentucky I stopped in a small town called Berea took these pix.
The top one is of a couple who in the early 1800 started the first school and ALL children attended, black and white but all that stopped in the early 1900 when the Blacks were made to attend their own school.

Below is of the "last rose of summer"!

Below is a pic of the Boone Tavern and Hotel!

~~~~4:30 AM SHE SETS OFF...."ON THE ROAD AGAIN"!
I couldn't get anything past L'll Sis ....there she was up with me to see me off and I really did appreciated it.
I swished past Daytona Beach and Jacksonville and jumped on Interstate 10 Florida heading west until it intersected Interstate 75 where I hung a right and struck off north.
It wasn't long until 75 snaked into the state of Georgia. Tifton, Macon, and Atlanta dissolved and it wasn't long until I was into the state of Tennessee with its beautiful mountains. Chattanooga came and went and then Athens where I decided to "pack it in" for the night.
I am going for a swim following this posting (still must get some cardio workout in) and have an early bedtime.
Cousin Mike I hope you are following....and don't get lost with the "rednecks"! LOL!
Till next time...
~~~~A VERY BUSY DAY......this is my last day here and it will be full of action.

First will be an hour workout and maybe a quick swim then I'm off to Cocoa Village for two hours of wonderful jazz. Followed by lunch at the ocean with a walk on the beach. Then back to get to the packing of the SUV. My suitcase is bulging already....I just hope I don't forget to pack my treasured bike. I have had such fun riding it and I'm so glad I brought it down with me.

Next you hear from me I will be "On the road again"! Plans are to try to get to or near Atlanta on Sat. and I'll be stopping around 5pm.

Till next time....

A tour guide was this very pleasant descendant of the CRACKERS gave us a tour of the school house and lunch house also the 1950's House.... She attended this school and was so excited to share everything she knew about it. It was such a pleasure for us to enjoy someone so enthusiastic about their job...oops it was not a job but fun to her.

~~~SILLY L'LL SIS.... she and her neighbour Jackie were being silly on Sunday morning before we were heading out to do some serious shopping....
Following our shopping we went to lunch at the Sunset Restaurant which is on the Banana River and in the pic below you can see the "salt water cat fish" being fed by the people following their lunch.
Below is a pic of a couple just relaxing till their lunch arrived. We found out that their 6yr old son was asleep in the cabin. They just backed this craft into the slip and ordered their lunch.
