As I was heading north on Interstate 75 about 40 south of Lexington Kentucky I stopped in a small town called Berea took these pix.The top one is of a couple who in the early 1800 started the first school and ALL children attended, black and white but all that stopped in the early 1900 when the Blacks were made to attend their own school.
