~~~A WEE DRAM FOR .....ROBBIE BURNS!
I was able to get a seat up front and to the right of the stage.
The pic above is of the Celtic Blue Highlanders pipe band. I did take this shot as a short movie but I forgot how to put a movie on this Blog...duh.....some homework is necessary.
It was a fantastic time ....I hope they do it again next year.
The food was delicious even the Haggis! Yummy!
I didn't need a taxi because I know my limit!

It was wonderful to meet you at the Robbie Burns night. David and I had such a great time, it was really nice to share the table with such fine company. Your quilts look fantastic. I will have to start keeping a record, like you say, of the ones I am making.
I was thinking that while in Vancouver, if you get a chance between curling matches, you should try and get down to the Stanley Park Seawall for a walk. Its a wonderful walk around the park and you can stop in to the Stanley Park Fish House for a bite to eat. Some really nice seafood there. I am not sure which areas will be blocked for the events but I don't think Stanley Park is one of them.
I have bookmarked your blog for future reading. It would be nice to keep in touch with you and maybe see you at some other Scottish events in the area. If nothing else we can raise a glass to Scotland's favourite son next year.
