They are spectacular and I think I cut them just in time....before the big rain and wind. I have them sitting outside because as we all know for Peonies to open they have to the help of those large black ants and I didn't want the little critters in the house.

Dear "kid"; I was next blog surfing and was stopped by the site of the peonies. Then I was delighted to see it was a blog from a Southwestern Canuck gal , such as myself. I am now living with my American husband in Michigan so it was a nice little slice of home reading your blog. Thanks for that
