~~~EDMONTON ALBERTA ...I HAVE ARRIVED!

Following a very swift flight from London airport to Toronto I had a an hour and a half layover so I decided to check out some of the shops. It was great fun just window shopping which is something I haven't done for quite some time.

Calgary was in "blizzard" conditions and I thought that I might be stuck somewhere for however long....but no. The flight arrived into Edmonton 1/2 hour early and just as my luggage appeared on the belt so did my old friend. How wonderful to see him again.

We left the airport and right out on to the sever snow covered streets of Edmonton. He has a very new and very large truck with brand new snow tires and we just swished through traffic.

His wife Lynn was waiting for us and again it was so good to see her . It didn't take long for the chattering to begin.

I told my friend that I was having "with drawls" since I had not been on a computer for over 24hours so he put me out of my misery and encouraged me to just go head and log on!

I will take some time later and ask about downloading some pix that I took of the ride from the airport to their house.....
